In an attempt to deter the raccoon family from digging up our lawn, we invested $40 in two jugs of these granules.
I didn't have much hope but we had to give it a try, and bought enough to treat most of the lawn. The first morning after application, we saw only minimal digging, so we had some hope. The second morning we found more sod dug up. By the third morning, the diggers had left quite a mess.
We're back to having fresh holes all over the lawn. Here's a pretty little corner, but...
......if you look closely, the glass tower is smeared by muddy little raccoon paws.
We give up. We'll repair the damage and reseed areas after the fall rains begin. The raccoons will have more places to dig once nature waters everywhere. Next summer, when the varmints return, we may invest in Coyote Pee. It's available on line, for a hefty fee. We'll see. :-)
